St. Edmund Campion is a local High School with a very active Film and Media Arts program, under the leadership of its instructor, Richard Menanno.
I met Richard at a film editing seminar sometime back and we’ve kept in touch. Rick is passionate about teaching his students about the world of film making and animation.
Earlier this year, we were chatting and Richard asked if ckmmphotographic would sponsor a prize in this year’s St. Edmund Campion 2016 Film Festival.
Of course, we said yes!
First Prize was awarded to K. Allsebrook for a brilliant Animation Short, which showed great technical merit as well as telling a touching story of the journey of a stick figure through his day!
